Our Philosophy
As physicians who have been in health care for more than three decades, we have a keen interest in preventing disease rather than treating it.
Unique to the practice of medicine here in the North, our clinicians are generalists who have developed competence in core clinical areas such as cardiology, respirology, gastroenterology, dermatology, orthopedics, neurology as well as women and men’s health. We also have clinical interests in allergy, travel immunization and procedural medicine.
This does give us a unique position to be able to create a preventative screening assessment that can help risks or conditions before they become a concern and facilitate the interventions that you need now to help improve outcomes.

Your Annual Passport to Health
Our core annual assessment encompasses four foundational elements of health. Your vitals/bloodwork/clinical exam, physical capacity, nutrition/weight/mental wellbeing will all be assessed and will set the framework for our recommendations, referrals and follow up conversations.
The assessment will start 2 weeks before your scheduled appointment. Our health navigator will call you to set up an appointment for bloodwork and radiologic testing before your Core Health Assessment.
The day of your evaluation you can expect to be with our team and associates for about 4 hours of assessments. A physician and nurse will be assigned to you to walk you through the day of testing. This physician will also complete your end of day debrief with your Personal PASSPORT FOR HEALTH.
