Case Reporting & Documentation

Real-time status reporting to employers, standardized documentation, and communication with all stakeholders, including HR, benefits, union representatives, and claims administrators.

Occupational & Non-Occupational Case Management

We manage the full range of workplace absences as a third-party provider, coordinating with your claims department and the employee's treating professionals.

Occupational Injuries

Recovery and accommodation planning for work-related injuries, coordinated with your team and the employee's treating providers to support a safe return to work.

Non-Occupational Absences

Case management for illness, injury, or surgery unrelated to work, managed through your short-term disability policy, including clinical assessment and review of medical documentation for eligibility purposes.

As a third-party provider, we communicate directly with your company's claims department and the employee's treating professionals, such as physiotherapists and specialists, to keep every case moving.

How Case Management Works

A clear, coordinated process from first referral through to a sustained return to work.

  1. 01

    Intake & referral

We receive the referral and gather the information needed to open the case.

  2. 02

    Clinical assessment

The employee is assessed by our clinical team, virtually in most cases, with in-person physical assessments performed where needed.

  3. 03

    Medical documentation review

We review medical documentation, including for STD eligibility purposes where applicable.

  4. 04

    Recovery & accommodation planning

We build a recovery and accommodation plan suited to the absence, coordinating accommodations as needed.

  5. 05

    Return to work

We coordinate a safe, timely return with appropriate accommodations in place.

  6. 06

    Ongoing support & case closure

We stay involved through the accommodation period, closing the case once the employee has returned to full duties or reached maximum medical recovery (MMR).

Patient-centered, with a focus on support and empathy

Our approach puts the employee at the centre of the process, pairing genuine support with clear guidance toward a successful return to work.
