Rehabilitation care, in the same building
Northern ProActive Health is our preferred rehabilitation provider, located on site at 885 Prete Street. Physiotherapy, chiropractic, and rehabilitation care are available in the same building as your NEOMO Occupational Health appointment.
One location, less disruption
Recovery from a workplace injury often means appointments with more than one provider. When those appointments are spread across the city, workers lose time, employers lose shifts, and momentum in a recovery plan is easy to lose.
Having a rehabilitation clinic on site means a worker attending NEOMO for an injury assessment or medical can access physiotherapy or chiropractic care in the same building. Where a worker chooses to attend Northern ProActive Health and consents to information being shared, communication between clinicians is straightforward.
Northern ProActive Health is a separate, independently owned and operated clinic. Their practitioners are licensed by their own regulatory colleges and are not employed by NEOMO Occupational Health.

Rehabilitation and pain management services available on site through Northern ProActive Health.
Physiotherapy
Assessment and treatment of pain, injury, and movement dysfunction, supporting rehabilitation and return to function.
Chiropractic
Diagnosis and treatment of muscle, joint, and nerve conditions, including acute and chronic pain, headaches, and sports injuries.
Concussion Management
Assessment and recovery support including education, hands-on neck therapy, balance training, and home exercise programs.
Shockwave Therapy
Radial pressure waves delivered through the skin to target tissue, used to stimulate healing in musculoskeletal conditions.
Low-Level Laser Therapy
Non-invasive light therapy used to support tissue repair and reduce inflammation in musculoskeletal conditions.
Acupuncture & Dry Needling
Fine needles used to stimulate nerves and muscles as part of a pain management approach.
Custom Foot Orthotics
Medical insoles made from precise foot imprints to improve alignment and support efficient movement.
Post-Offer Employment Testing
Physical assessments measuring a candidate's functional capacity against the physical demands set out in your job demands analysis (JDA).

No referral required
A physician referral is not needed to book an appointment, though your insurance plan may ask for one.

Not covered by OHIP
Services are not covered by OHIP. Coverage may be available through an extended health benefits plan.

WSIB claims
WSIB claims are accepted where the injury occurred within the last three months and the claim has been approved. Have your WSIB case number ready when you book.

Motor vehicle accident claims
Injuries related to motor vehicle accidents and the associated insurance claims are not managed at this time.
Your choice of provider
Individuals are free to choose their own physiotherapy, chiropractic, or rehabilitation provider. Northern ProActive Health is our preferred provider because of their location on site and our working relationship with their team. That designation does not limit your choice, and choosing a different provider has no bearing on any NEOMO Occupational Health program, assessment, or claim.
